The installation of stone, either genuine or faux, allows for very similar moisture issues as does synthetic stucco.  As such, the same concerns that govern the installation of stone are the same as for synthetic stucco.  Terry Finegan is certified by EDI (Exterior Design Institute) to inspect for and diagnose any moisture issues as related to stone.  Essentially, the inspections will be comprised of Phase 1 and Phase 2 inspections following the EDI protocols for surface inspections with a Tramex meter and then probing with a Delmhorst probe for all areas found to have a high moisture content.  All holes are patched with a clear silicone caulk.  All findings are carefully documented and photographed.
