Terry Finegan and all inspectors at Finegan Inspection
Services, Inc., subscribe fully to the codes and ethics
recommended by the American Society of Home
Inspectors
(ASHI) for home inspections, and to the protocols and ethics
proscribed by the Exterior Design Institute (EDI) for all
building exterior envelope inspections. EDI
is the oldest American professional organization governing
synthetic stucco inspections, (EIFS) and their detailed
repair protocols and procedures.
Terry is an expert
in moisture intrusion diagnosis and repair for EIFS
(Exterior Insulated Finished Systems), and in all other
types of exterior surfaces, such as stone, siding, or
brick. He is certified by both ASHI and by EDI.
Finegan Inspection
Services conducts EIFS inspections, full home, and
condominium inspections, for both pre-sale and
pre-purchase. We welcome our clients to accompany
us throughout the entire course of the 2-4 hour inspection.
Our detailed reports normally range from 20-60 pages in
length and contain many photos. New home construction
reports are presented in “punchout” format, which is easily
understood by builders. We also conduct partial inspections
for those clients only wanting to have specific areas of a
home inspected.
